Health & Safety
To further our continual improvement by use of industry indicators and benchmarks, we achieved accreditation to the (CHAS) Contractors Health and Safety Scheme. The process of inclusion requires audits and inspections together with the presentation of documentary evidence.
The process of accreditation acts as a company indicator and benchmark in relation to Health and Safety management.
Risk Assessments
Risk Assessments are collated the recommended actions to remove or reduce the hazards or risks are implemented to ensure a safe working environment is achieved. Even after all precautions have been taken, some risk usually remains. Therefore there is a need for reviewing our assessments and revise them if necessary.
We will ensure that all key risks that need to be addressed and all processes are subject to proper review and management. To achieve this objective our Health and Safety advisor will be available at all times and will undertake audits and inspections to ensure compliance.
Method Statements
Project specific Method Statements are very important as the information contained therein gives all interested parties details relating to the actual progression of the works, the methods adopted, and may include any property specific rules and recommendations such as:
To ensure the Risk Assessments and Method Statements are truly specific and not generic in nature each project will be visited before work begins to ensure the relevant information is obtained to enable the collation of the documents.
We our committed to ensuring that the Health and Safety documentation is not just produced at the start of the project, but is constantly reviewed, audited and changed where necessary throughout the life of the scheme.
